In a surprise development, Sharad Pawar has invited Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde and his two deputies Devendra Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar over lunch at his Baramati residence on Saturday. The invite is being seen as a move to blunt the impact that Pawar senior's estranged nephew, Ajit Pawar, plans to generate by announcing projects for Baramati LS constituency that he wants to wrest from his cousin, Supriya Sule.
