Balwinder Kaur, mother of pro-Khalistan activist Amritpal Singh, expressed her vision of Khalistan as a governance model that includes Sikhs, Hindus, and other communities living without fear. She believes Khalistan represents the inclusive governance of Maharaja Ranjit Singh's era. Kaur also called for Sikh youth to converge for initiation at the Takht Sri Kesgarh Sahib on November 19. Meanwhile, India and the US recently discussed defense and technology cooperation, with the US urging India to cooperate with Canada's probe into the killing of a Khalistan separatist.
