Posters labeling former Karnataka Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy as a 'current thief' appeared near his house after he was accused of power theft. The Congress accused Kumaraswamy of illegally drawing power for decorative lights during Deepavali. The BESCOM vigilance wing registered a case against him, but Kumaraswamy defended himself by blaming a private decorator. The Congress took a dig at him, saying it was tragic that a former CM resorted to stealing electricity.
